Okay, Okay I might have exaggerated a bit😉. But here we are, almost at the end of week 2 and ... 🧘‍♀️(deep breaths)🙂

Day 1

As usual, Drey decided to welcome us to the new week with a new task.

One which had everyone responding the same way

So we had to create a blog, write 6 posts, and have 100 readers by the end of the week. A 100 😧, Dude!🥴

So we got straight to work this time. We already learned our lessons from last week's saga. No more submitting 4mins to the deadline.

As always, Dinma was quick to break down the tasks for us and Qiyammah proceeded to schedule a meeting for evening. We had to decide on which niche/industry to focus on.

In the meeting, we considered relationships, lifestyle, health industry, and even weird food combinations 😃. We also made a schedule for tasks and noted the need to research 'how to create a blog'. We ended by setting another meeting for 10am the following day.

Day 2

Most of us couldn't make the meeting set for 10am due to battery issues (awọn Oga Nepa at work😑) or work, so it was rescheduled to evening. We needed to conclude on the niche and domain name. After much deliberations, we decided on...Drum roll please🥁🥁... The Entertainment industry. More specifically, focusing on trendy and controversial issues. We love us some scandals😚💅

Qiyammah volunteered to create the blog, and Two of us (Qiyammah and I) ended up creating two logos (miscommunication sha😫).

We decided to go with the first logo (Qiyammah's)

Next, we had to choose topics to write on, recent gists. So Quiyammah gave everyone the assignment to research trendy topics and make notes. Some of us weren't into the whole 'celebrity gossip' business but Dinma offered to suggest topics. She also offered to proofread everyone's articles since she had a Grammarly Premium account (who dey breet😏).

It's safe to say today was quite productive.

Day 3

Today, we are to finalize the topics we will be writing on. Nelson dropped his but others were having trouble. So Dinma sent her array of topics for others to cherrypick from. We had another meeting in the evening (Be like say, na every day we go dey do meeting bayii😩) and set a deadline for submission by 10pm on Thursday. We also discussed research tools and plans on how to achieve the needed amount of views.

Day 4

Today is Submission day. Chinese sent in her article😘. (Na dis kain thing I wan dey wake up to) but Jumoke's file went missing from her phone 😭 🥲. So Quiyammah extended the deadline by 2hrs for everyone. Jumoke was able to bounce back and send in her article by then🙌

Day 5

As you've probably guessed, we are behind schedule😖. Qiyammah had to check up everyone and their writing progress. Titilope sent in her article today🙂. Jumoke sent in the pics to be included in her article. Dinma had been having battery issues so she couldn't send in her article and proofread the other articles by the deadline. Qiyammah was having trouble uploading photos due to her phone storage space.🤕😫 (Guys😔, We need motivational speaker).

Then things started to look up.

Samuel sent in his article and pics. So did Vey and Dinma. Dinma got to proofreading some of the articles and sending them in. Qiyammah uploaded them to the blog, she also mentioned the need to market our blogs to our friends and various groups.

Day 6

Whew! It's been a long week.

Nelson sent in his article today. Dinma sent in more edited articles to be uploaded to our blog. Qiyammah kept giving updates on our stats. By 6pm, we had about 105 views and 40 readers on our blog. Cheers to more🥂

This week, we were more coordinated, had no ghosts (everyone had an input) and while we still have to work on our timing, things turned out okay.
